Honey

In India, Honey has been used for thousands of years, as an ingredient for medicine.

The Greeks & Egyptians attributed various virtues to it.

Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, prescribed it as a remedy, and used it himself too.

The latest researches indicate that the pollen in Honey, contains all the amino acids, minerals, enzymes and fatty acids.

However, one should preferably use unprocessed honey, as much of its nutritive values are lost, with the heating of honey to 150°f for commercial use.

The process of filtering, bottling & cooling honey , to protect its flavour, removes the pollen grains ,and honey loses its natural purity and nutritive value.
